Agent Mesh · Off-grid connectivity

Address people and projects — not radios.

One signed, encrypted envelope can travel directly, over local IP, through Bluetooth or LoRa relays, via a gateway, or physically with another device. Agent OS chooses the route from deadline, privacy, region, energy, trust and payload size.

Agent Mesh transport-neutral delivery diagram A signed encrypted bundle travels from Agent OS through direct Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LoRa relays, gateways, and delayed physical carriage while keeping one identity and receipt model. One envelope. Many paths. The object model stays stable while transport, delay, energy, and relay topology change. LoRa is one constrained transport below the system model — not a separate messenger, identity database or app silo. AOS-ARCH-024

What it enables

Connectivity that survives infrastructure gaps.

The same delivery and receipt semantics apply whether peers are metres apart, encounter each other hours later, or reach an optional gateway.

01

Hiking and remote travel

Short messages, coordinates, group presence and emergency bundles continue when cellular service disappears.

02

Blackout or disaster

Phones, fixed solar relays and optional gateways carry encrypted bundles across disconnected neighbourhoods.

03

Project handoff

Tasks, compact CRDT operations, manifests and agent-plan updates move between teams without uploading the whole workspace.

04

Large-object rendezvous

LoRa announces an object ID and hash; the document or photo transfers later over Wi-Fi or another high-speed path.

05

Local community network

A village, festival, farm, vessel, campus or construction site can operate its own bounded relay fabric.

06

Gateway without surrender

A home or vehicle node bridges Internet, LoRaWAN or satellite while remaining an untrusted carrier of encrypted Agent Mesh payloads.

Honest delivery

“Sent” is not one state.

Custody, discovery and final delivery are different facts. Agent OS makes delay and uncertainty inspectable instead of hiding them behind a spinner or optimistic checkmark.

Direct The recipient device accepted the envelope itself.
Pending No suitable route exists yet; expiry and next retry remain visible.
Relay custody A permitted relay holds an encrypted copy but cannot read it.
Delivered The requested receipt condition has been satisfied.
Expired The delivery deadline passed and retained copies are removed by policy.
Rejected Identity, region, quota, authority or recipient policy denied the route.
LoRa hardware path

Prove the system before integrating a radio.

The first vertical slice uses a documented Meshtastic-compatible node over BLE or USB. A native SX1262-class accessory and low-power connectivity island come only after measured evidence.

01

Compatibility node

Meshtastic over BLE/USB for immediate field evidence.

02

Phone accessory

Recoverable MCU + radio module with measured wake and power behaviour.

03

Fixed relays

Solar, roof, vehicle and indoor store-and-forward nodes.

04

Future integration

Separate low-power radio island after antenna and certification gates.
